How to work through it

  1. Keep a ratio table in your notebook while working through Topics 1–3.
  2. When a problem mentions “per” or “for every,” write a ratio before calculating.
  3. Watch both videos on double-number lines if Topic 2 feels confusing.
  4. Complete all exercises, then explain one rate problem out loud to check understanding.
  5. Review Unit 1 fractions if decimal conversions trip you up.
